CREDIT CARD-SIZED 16GB FLASH CARD

A Taiwanese flash card manufacturer is prepping up the introduction of a credit card-sized 16GB Flash Card.

Power Quotient International (PQI), a memory module manufacturer in Taiwan, will ship the wallet-size storage device called U510. The flash card’s dimension is only 85mm x 54mm x 3mm. It is expected to battle out with a thinner USB flash-drive from OCZ, which has recently announced a storage card called Mini-Kart with only 2.8mm thickness. We’re not sure if there’s a flash card with U510’s size that exceeds 16GB.

U510’s remarkable credit card-size design allows you to slip it into your wallet or pocket. It has a built-in retractable USB connector and should work with Macs and Windows.

3 Reasons you should buy a PDA

3 Reasons you should Buy a PDA

If you are a busy person, a handy tool to have is a PDA, or a Personal Digital Assistant.
Here are 3 great reasons to purchase one of these light and handy gadgets.

1. PDA’s allow you to keep pertinent contact information in one spot. You can load up your address book with phone numbers, email addresses and other information on family, friends and business associates.

2. They synchronize with your personal computer so documents when you work “on the road” can be quickly and easily downloaded to your primary work machine. Some PDA’s even have a program that is set up for itemizing expenses while you travel. In it, you can keep track of hotel, gasoline and eating expenses. This is very helpful for someone that is keeping meticulousrecords of expenses incurred on business.

3. Ease of use. It doesn’t take long to learn how to use one, and some newer PDA’s have added features like being compatible with your Bluetooth device or also serve as an MP3 player. Great for the times you have to sit in an airport or fly on a plane.

PDA’s vary in pricing, but a nicely equipped PDA can be had for about US$ 200.00-300.00. Not a bad investment for basically a computer that fits in the Palm of your hand.
